Do protectionist tendencies arising on the international economic scene (USA, China, Russia, Iran and Brexit...) represent an obstacle to free trade and open markets?
This is the main topic of the annual conference of the Institute for International Economics of the Genova Chamber of Commerce on December, 6 - 4 p.m.
Professor Nicola Acocella, eminent economist, full professor at University La Sapienza, Rome will deliver a keynote speech. During the conference he will be awarded the 11th Economia Internazionale Prize for his research work on the theoretical framework of political economy.
The Conference is also the occasion to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the review Economia Internazionale/International Economics edited by the Institute since 1948!
