A little bit of history

A little bit of history: eminent economists’ contributions to Economia Internazionale/International Economics (among others even Nobel Prize winners):

- in 1954 Economia Internazionale published: “Domestic Production and Foreign Trade: The American Capital Position Examined", by Wassily Leontief (Nobel Prize winner in 1973), vol. 7(1), 9-45;

- in 1972 Professor Leontief authorized Economia Internazionale to re-publish his paper (translated into Italian): Theoretical Assumptions and Nonobserved Facts, [The American Economic Review (1971)];

- likewise in 1969 Professor Milton Friedman (Nobel Prize in 1976) authorized Economia Internazionale to re-publish his paper (translated into Italian, see vol. 22(1), pp. 1-22): “The Role of Monetary Policy”, [American Economic Review, 1968];

- in 1970 Economia Internazionale  was authorized to translate and publish (see vol. 23 issue 2-3) the proceedings of the Third World Congress of the International Economics Association which took place in Montreal, 2-7 September 1968: the report included the Presidential Address by P.A. Samuelson (Nobel Prize in 1970) “The Way of an Economist”, and the paper by B.G. Ohlin (Nobel Prize in 1977) “Trade in a Non-Laissez-Faire World”.
